Episcopalianism and Evangelism??

Don't freak out, fellow members of the Anglican Communion. Evangelism is a term that is commonly associated with Fundamentalist ideals. The current state of the Episcopal Church is nothing close to these fundamentalist ideals.

But some Evangelist methods are noteworthy. Offering another eternal life, promising the unhopeful hope, the meek the earth. Or even simpler: introducing God to someone who otherwise wouldn't have known Him.

But is it possible that we can call others to Christ without forcible action?

What if it were possible to call people to Christ without expecting or forcing proselytism. Without creating a preconception of those who don't know our God, and without exiling those who refuse to accept our beliefs.

Jesus was often noted in the Gospel for staying close to those who sinned; prostitutes, drug addicts. he offered unconditional love. Because someone who doesn't accept Christ is still a part of Him.

I believe we can accept the things we cannot change, change the things we can and have the wisdom to know the difference.
